Laser Treatments & Hair Removal

Venus Versa Pro, a device platform working with intense pulsed light and radiofrequency energy, across three applications — skin resurfacing, photo-rejuvenation, and fine-line treatment — plus Venus Epileve laser hair removal, priced by area.

One platform, three technologies, and a laser for hair removal: light and energy, matched to your skin.

What they are

“Laser treatments” is the name this whole family of light- and energy-based skin work usually goes by. The device behind it is precise about what it actually sends into the skin: Venus Versa Pro, a platform whose applicators work with intense pulsed light and radiofrequency energy, close relatives of the laser, each shaped to a different job. One platform, three distinct applications: skin resurfacing, photo-rejuvenation, and fine-line treatment. Alongside the platform sits one true laser, the Venus Epileve, used for hair removal.

Skin resurfacing

The NanoFractional RF applicator works through the skin’s surface: tiny pins channel radiofrequency energy to the deeper layers, where collagen is made. It’s used where the concern is the appearance of wrinkles, enlarged pores, uneven texture, or scarring, including acne scarring, and the applicator is designed for all skin types and tones. Whether it’s the right tool for your skin is a consultation conversation.

Photo-rejuvenation

Different job, different physics. The intense pulsed light applicators, FDA-cleared devices, deliver brief pulses of light aimed at pigment and visible vessels near the surface: the appearance of sun damage, brown spots, small capillaries, redness and discoloration. The skin is cooled in real time while the light is delivered; comfort is designed into the applicator, not added afterward.

The film is shown with the client’s consent. Every plan is individual, and whether this treatment suits your skin is decided with Amy at a consultation.

Fine lines

The third application pairs two energies in one FDA-cleared applicator: multi-polar radiofrequency, which warms the skin, and pulsed electromagnetic fields, a pairing the manufacturer calls (MP)². Nothing enters the skin; the applicator is passed across the surface, and the treatment is designed to soften the appearance of facial fine lines and wrinkles.

Laser hair removal

Hair removal is the one service on this page that uses a laser: the Venus Epileve. It’s priced by area, a single treatment or a series of six.

Three tools, one conversation

Which applicator fits (resurfacing, light, or the fine-line pairing; one of them, a sequence, or none) is a consultation decision, not a menu pick. Amy also offers PiXel8-RF microneedling on her skin-rejuvenation line; where the two overlap, the consultation decides which tool suits your skin — or whether the honest answer is neither. Laser hair removal is the simpler case: choose the area and book (opens in new tab).

Individualized, with Amy

Amy Palacios, FNP, plans every treatment herself at her Harrisburg medspa in the greater Charlotte area. The treatment is performed by Amy or by a member of her own staff. It starts with hitting book (opens in new tab).

Your visit, step by step

  1. Step 1. Book — or ask first

Book (opens in new tab) an appointment whenever you are ready, or request a free consultation and talk it through before anything is scheduled.

  2. Step 2. Personalized plan

Every visit begins with a conversation: your history, your questions, what you would like to address. Together with Amy, you decide what comes next.

  3. Step 3. Treatment visit

Confidently book (opens in new tab) your appointment. Every visit includes time for questions before anything begins.

  4. Step 4. Aftercare guidance

You leave with clear aftercare guidance and a direct way to reach out to Amy if questions come up.

Have questions?

Is this actually a laser?

Partly. The Venus Versa Pro platform works with intense pulsed light and radiofrequency energy — light- and energy-based technologies in the laser's close family. Hair removal is the exception: the Venus Epileve is a laser. What matters in practice is matching the right applicator to your skin, which is what the consultation is for.

What is IPL?

Intense pulsed light: brief pulses of broad-spectrum light aimed at pigment and visible vessels near the skin's surface, delivered while the applicator cools the skin in real time.

What does a treatment feel like?

It depends on the applicator. The light-based applicators pair each pulse with real-time cooling; the energy-based ones read mostly as warmth. Amy walks through exactly what to expect before anything begins.

Does it work on darker skin tones?

The resurfacing applicator is designed for all skin types, including darker tones. Whether any of the three applications suits your skin is decided with Amy at a consultation.

How many treatments will I need?

That depends on your skin and your goals. It's planned individually with Amy and adjusted along the way, if necessary. Series pricing is a way to buy, not a prescription: whether a single treatment or a series suits you is decided with Amy.

Can I book a laser treatment directly?

Yes! All services can be booked with the expectation of a procedure.

Who performs the treatment?

Amy Palacios, FNP, a licensed family nurse practitioner, plans every treatment. The treatment itself is performed by Amy or by a member of her own staff.

The right fit is just a conversation away.

Every plan is personalized, decided between you and Amy.
